Default Deep Japanese Pow on the Big Screen

Signatures: Canvas of Snow, arguably one of the finest ski flicks of recent times is one of the films that will feature in the up-coming UK wide tour of the Banff Mountain Film Festival. Filmed in the deep powder of Hokkaido (if only the UK snow was this deep!), it has amazing cinematography and a nice soundtrack to boot and looks incredible up on the big screen!

As well as skiing/snowboarding, there are other films featuring sports such as climbing, whitewater kayaking, mountain biking and speed flying (a cross between paragliding and skiing - the film includes some incredible aerial footage as they descend Mont Blanc). To see the Banff trailer and for more info check out http://www.banff-uk.com.

UK Banff tour dates and locations are:

• 29 January : Mitchell Theatre, Glasgow
• 3 and 4 February: Union Chapel, Islington, London
• 6 February : Theatre By The Lake, Keswick
• 11 February: Komedia Club, Brighton
• 13 February: Dancehouse Theatre, Manchester
• 18 & 21 February: Carriageworks Theatre, Leeds
• 20 February: Theatr Mwldan, Cardigan

You can win some great prizes by coming along including a 7 day Mont Blanc trek.
